CALLIGRAPHY, Anyone?
Whether you’re a bride desiring beautifully addressed invitations, or you’re just looking to add that special touch to your Christmas cards/letter this year, you’ll want to join us for this three-session Calligraphy 101 Class. Your instructor for the duration of the class will be Mark Muth. Mark is a professional calligrapher who specializes in Black Letter, and is a member of the Houston Calligraphers Guild. His work, shown above, is displayed on the Guild’s home page. This class will be held on Tuesday evenings at 6:30. Dates: October 20, October 27 and November 3. New Scrapbooking Classes Scheduled!
New Teacher, new classes! In case you missed our email, we’ve begun a great new program. Every week we will be hosting an event: either a free workshop with our new teacher, Luz E. Teel, or else a terrific scrapbooking or paper-crafting class. Our first workshop is this Wednesday, September 30th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Reservations are recommended, but walk-in are welcome. Then on Tuesday, October 6th, we will be hosting a Cardmaking Class at 6:30 pm. Reservations are required and the cost for the class is $15.00.
